FAQ
What is Three Nails?
Three Nails is a Church Plant calling out to God for an inbreaking of His presence in the Pittsburgh area. And he is calling out to us to be a movement of people in pockets around the city to show his love. God is saying to us: “You, my child, shall be called a prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way, to give his people knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of their sins. In the tender compassion of our God, The dawn from on high shall break upon us, To shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, And to guide our feet in the way of peace.” (Luke 1:76-79)
When do you meet?
Individual cells meet at various times and in various locations throughout the week. Contact a cell leader in your area for a more specific time and location. A list of cell group can be found on our Cell Group page. We also meet every Sunday afternoon for a “3Nails Worship Gathering” where people from all different cell groups join together to come before God. Just recently we’ve begun a second Worship Gathering between the “Bridge” and “Live, Worship, Shop” cell groups that gather once a month on a Thursday evening in Ambridge. Feel free to get together with other cells to begin another Gathering in your area, or just to hang out and play mini-golf.
What is a cell group?
A cell group can also be thought of as a “house church.” It’s a little more than a typical Bible study group because the idea is that the cell IS the church. This means that worship, prayers, Bible study, and fellowship are all aspects. They are created with the purpose of multiplication. As a cell grows, the purpose is to divide or send out leaders from within to begin a new cell group. Our cell groups are based out of homes, coffee shops, or anywhere else people choose to gather.
